Description/Job Summary
Employee will stand at a 3'-3 ' high conveyor. Employee will be required to assemble boxes manually and operate taping machine to seal assembled box. Employee will use both hands to remove product from conveyor (product weight ranges from 1.2 oz. to 6 oz. ) and place inside a box or bag. The boxes will be filled to the weight specifications obtained from the Plant Manager / Supervisor. When bag or box is filled it is placed back onto the conveyor and the next station will be responsible for removing the filled boxes at the end of the conveyor assembly (weight 40 lbs) and placing on a pallet. Responsible for Safe Quality Food, (SQF), HACCP, CCP tasks, sanitation and all support program implementation. Supervisory personnel may assign other duties as required.
Required Education
Minimum education required. Must be able to understand basic instructions from supervision.
Required Qualifications
Standing at 3'- 3 ' high conveyor 100% of the time. Lifting, reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly 100% of the time.
Controlled environment (temp. 50 - 70 ) and dry floors. Medium noise level
(hearing protection required).
