Job Description PLC / ROBOTIC ENGINEER

Great career opportunity with a premier technology driven company to help optimize production processes using PLC/Robotic automation systems for an 800 employee plant.
DUTIES:
Design and engineer a variety of manufacturing/process control systems that integrate/modify new and existing hardware/software to improve automation.
Manage automation projects as assigned.
Implement and modify Robotic and PLC functions for mechanical and electrical component processes.
Develop P&IDs and loop descriptions for various plant processes, and/or equipment.
Develop control system validation/testing protocols.
Design standards for correct electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment processes.
Implementation and troubleshooting of new advanced automation assembly equipment controls and systems.
Must Haves MUSTS:
BSEE, BSME, BSET, BSIE, BSMET with emphasis on industrial control systems.
7-12 yrs experience with PLCs, NC, CNC, Robotics, and manufacturing computer systems-preferably Fanuc, ABB, Mitsubishi, Siemens, 5 axis, etc.
Experience designing/implementing process instrumentation and control systems.
Experience with control system networking technologies and PC networking technology.
Experience working with internal engineers and external vendors to manage projects and assignments effectively.
Able to take over project ownership to optimize manufacturing machinery automation.
Must be self-starter, energetic type of person.
The preferred candidate will possess strong internal & external communication skills.
Must have solid working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
