Vantage Paralegal Services is seeking a Legal Intake Specialist Assistant for a top personal injury firm located in Gainesville, Georgia.
This is an in-office position.
This is a great opportunity to develop experience in a law firm environment.
The Legal Intake Specialist works under the direction of paralegals and attorneys to provide a great first impression of the law firm to potential and current clients.
Responsibilities:
Complete intakes for all case types through various types of communication (phone, email, walk-in, etc.
) Provide intakes to attorneys for review and follow-up as needed Schedule and confirm new client meetings Create new client files Draft and send new client letters (insurance request letters, open records requests, spoliation letters, etc.
) Contact auto insurance companies to set up new claims Send new client documents for electronic signature Follow-up with potential clients Review new case documents for completion Assist clients with completing Questionnaire Close client files Provide translation services for Spanish speaking clients Track cases referred to outside law firms Track referral cases and provide outside referral sources with case updates.
Send new case letters to referral sources Close declined cases Prepare monthly intake calendars Requirements:
One year experience with working in a law firm environment preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Positive and friendly attitude Detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work well with a diverse team Experience working in Filevine is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
