Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in daily operations and management of the retail store - Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction - Manage and supervise staff during assigned shifts - Train and onboard new employees, including conducting interviews - Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers - Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Assist in merchandising and maintaining visual standards in the store - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting -Work butcher counter on weekends; will have on the job training.
Previous butcher experience is a plus.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience operating cash registers - Familiarity with inventory management practices - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations.
