Client is seeking a Sr.
RPG Programmer Analyst to join our mainframe team with a client in Gainesville, GA.
This is a long-term contract engagement.
Specific skills needed:
Heavy RPG programming, MQ on the AS400, RPG, Very Strong SQL, Socket Programming Manufacturing/Shop floor experience a plus Primary
Responsibilities:
Utilize your expertise in RPG programming to develop and maintain robust applications in AS400.
Analyze, design, and implement software solutions as it relates to internal ERP application enhancements which could include:
General Ledger BPCS CEA (Configurable Enterprise Accounting) Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities GUI BPCS Graphical user interface to the financial applications GL/AP/AR.
Supporting sales team on billing and exchange rate reconciliations.
Month end and year end for the financial applications.
Qualifications:
10 years of AS/400, RPG programming experience General LX/BPCS knowledge Experience supporting GL/AP/AR Experience supporting physical inventory planning.
Needs to have a good technical background for the AS400, RPG and the AS400 query tool, SQL helpful but not required.
Must be able to write clear concise documents and designs.
Must be able to debug programs using the AS400 debugging tools.
Experience communicating at all levels, technical, user, manager, and executive.
Will be a team leader and supervise programmers and must be able to perform the QC function for each project.
Must be flexible in nature and able to manage multiple tasks at one time while working in a demanding user-based environment.
